Soap Suds & Oils

It is a wonderful oil I have had an irritation inside my nose used it there it has helped tremendously. Skin on my face has greatly improved I am well in my 80s.

Beautiful & smooth

I was waiting for a while to find enough time in my day to write a review that your products deserve, so here it is....finally! I discovered Soap Suds & Oils by chance in Subiaco Pharmacy in Perth about 3 months ago. I picked up a Shea & Hemp Shampoo bar, smelled it and couldn't put it down. The smell was so pure and natural, and the consistency so soft it was melting in my hand as I was holding it, so I had to try it. After washing my hair with the Soap that night, I went back to the same pharmacy the next day and bought one of each of the Soaps in your collection. My hair was so soft, full of body and 100% better looking than ever before....I'm talking here my post-menopausal hair, which is limp, thin and has a fraction of the volume/ body it used to have. I honestly couldn't believe it! Needless to say, I haven't used bottled shampoo and conditioner ever since and I'm certain I never will as long as your Business is making this soap! For the Women out there who color their hair every 3-4 weeks as I do, do NOT fear, this Shampoo Bar will preserve and prolong your color better than any color-treated hair shampoo on the market. That's the one thing that blew me away the most as I was expecting the soap to strip my color, but it did the exact opposite! Then I've tried the body bar 'Coconut & Hemp Soap on a Rope' and the experience was the same.... amazing feel/softness on the skin after shower, natural pure scent....ah' showers have never ever smelled and felt better! Then, I was brave enough to venture into a parallel universe :-) and try the 'Calendula & Hemp' Face bar. If someone told me that one day I'll be switching from [allegedly] gentle and very expensive face cream-cleansers to washing my face with a bar of soap I would tell them they were crazy.... but this Soap will leave you with no doubt that's the right way to go after the very 1st use....it removes make up, smells incredible and gives you nothing other than soft/clean skin! I'm 59yo and have cared for my skin all my life as if my life depended on it :-) and if I get even the slightest inkling that a product might dry my skin out, I will run away from it as fast as I can! As I said, I've tried every Soap in your collection and honestly can't decide which one is the best because they are all the BEST in their own right, such AMAZING products! I'm also a big devotee of Arnica & Hemp Root Salve, I scrub my feet in the shower then leather them with this salve (don't forget to put a pair of tick socks on straight after you do this!) and the next day it feels as if I have new skin on my feet i.e. soft. smooth, no cracks! I have also recently purchased the Hemp & Vanilla Serum. I mix it with my face moisturizer at night, and I love it because even though it's oil, it gets absorbed by the skin and doesn't feel heavy at all. I have to say I don't particularly like the Vanilla scent in this product as it reminds me of food and cakes :-) but that's just a personal preference type thing which doesn't take away from purity and quality of this product.
All in all....as you can imagine, my shower looks very different these days...no plastic bottles to be seen anywhere, but I have to admit the truth: this is just [a very fortunate!] side effect of trying and LOVING your products!
The other day I picked up an unopened bottle of shampoo from the Mecca store [that stuff ain't cheap!] from under the bathroom counter, and held it side by side with your Honey & Hemp Shampoo bar. The ingredients in your Shampoo bar: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Hemp Seed Oil, Lye, Castor Oil, Raw Honey, Jojoba Oil and Salt. 9 Ingredients all up, and you do not need google to understand what they are! :-) Now, for the comparison's sake, here are only some of the many [terrible sounding] Ingredients in the Mecca shampoo (or any other store-bought shampoo for that matter....):
Behentrimonium Chloride, Polyglyceryl 10-Stearate, PPG-3 Benzyl Ether Myristate, Polyquaternium-47, Steareth-20, Isopropyl Alcohol, etc. etc.
"What the heck are those things??!" I hear you ask...Well so did I, but sadly only after finding products like Soap Suds & Oils! I will never know what those toxic, synthetic compounds did to my skin, hair and overall health....but the alternative sure exists and I can't be happier I've found your products for which I'm truly grateful! I can't express how much I appreciate the products you are creating for us. THANK YOU Soap Suds @ Oils from the bottom of my heart !!!
